crochet shapes 101

lets start with shape first before our amigurumi begin

there lots of shape that can be use in making amigurumi. here are some always use

materials:
yarn
hook
marker.

this is continues and marking make it easy to see your beginning

STITCHES
MAGINC RING
SC- single crochet
SL- slip stich
ST- stitch

CIRCLE

rnd1. in MAGIC RING, 6SC. (6SC)
rnd2. 2sc around. (12sc)
rnd3. 1sc in the next st, 2sc in the next (18)
rnd4. 1sc in the next 2sts, 2sc in the next (24)
rnd5. 1sc in the next 3sts, 2sc in the next (30)
rnd6. 1sc in the next 4sts, 2sc in the next (36)
rnd7. 1sc in the next 5sts, 2sc in the next (42)

adding another round by adding the sc in the next stitches can make the circle bigger.

next round. SC AROUND.
FASTEN OFF.

HALF CIRCLE

STITCHES
MAGINC RING
SC- single crochet
SL- slip stich
ST- stitch

rnd1. in MAGIC RING, 6SC. (6SC)
rnd2. 1sc in the next st, 2sc in the next (9)
rnd3. 1sc in the next 2sts, 2sc in the next (12)
rnd4. 1sc in the next 3sts, 2sc in the next (15)
rnd5. 1sc in the next 4sts, 2sc in the next (18)
rnd6. 1sc in the next 5sts, 2sc in the next (21)

adding another round by adding the sc in the next stitches can make the circle bigger.

next round. SC AROUND.
FASTEN OFF.

SQUARE

STITCHES
MAGIC RING
CH- chain
SC- single crochet
SL- slip stitches

rnd1. chain according to the lenght you want. i did 16 chains (16ch)
rnd2. ch1, then turn, sc in the next stitches evenly. (16sc)

next round. repeat rnd 2 until you achieve the square shape.
FASTEN OFF.
SQUARE HAS 4 EQUALS SIDES.
